🌷 Baking this lemon rosemary olive oil cake for the kindest person I know! My sweet mother! 

Baking has truly become my love language, and it has become a tradition for me to bake my mom’s birthday cake every year. 
Last year, I made a decadent chocolate cake, but this year, in honor of spring in the air, I decided to bake something floral and light. 

🍋 Here’s what you need to try this at home:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 ml lavender extract 
3 sprigs of rosemary 
2 eggs (large)
1 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 cup olive oil
2 to 3 tbsp of lemon juice (about one lemon)
Zest of 2 lemons
pinch of salt (1/4 tsp)

Topping:
Powdered sugar
Cardamom
