I am a full supporter of AA if it works for you and that’s how you stay sober. HOWEVER being in AA and working a program does not mean you’re superior or that you’re “more sober” or “more recovered” than others who chose to not be involved in AA. I got sober twice. Both times with the help of AA and the 12 steps. I do not currently work a program and THATS OK! I am happy healthy and thriving and people who are in AA are not better off than I am.
