Preston Edmead’s 24 points are the most by a Hofstra player in an NCAA Tournament game since Richie Laurel had 35 against Notre Dame in 1977. 

He is one of FIVE freshmen in @caasports history to score 20+ points in an NCAA Tournament game and the first since JMU’s Andre Nation scored 24 points against Indiana in 2013.
