Our ACE teens took Finding Nemo Jr. on the road for an unforgettable week at the TNT Youth Conference, joining young performers from across Texas to celebrate and share the magic of live theatre.

🏆 TNT Youth Conference Highlights
🎭 Show Participation: The audience gasped as the curtain rose on Finding Nemo Jr. and roared with applause at the final bow — a true testament to the cast and crew’s hard work and heart. Huge thanks to Director Ms. Eliana, Music Director Ms. Amy, and Choreographer Dylan!
🌟 All-Star Cast: Claire Gscheidle (Nemo), Kamden Reece (Dory)
🌟 Adjudicator’s Special Award: “Excellence in Embodiment of a Starfish” – Sonja Ruetten
🎬 Backstage Award: Entire Finding Nemo Jr. cast and crew
🍎 Todd Hart Teacher’s Pet Award: Oakley Brooke Coates, Lona Crocker, Rachel King, Jace Stark (nominated by 5 instructors!) & Layla Thakur – the most recipients we’ve ever had!
💫 Gilmore Spirit of the Conference Award: Seth Blanck
🎭 Esprit de Corps Award: ACE
🎓 Young Leaders Council: Claire Gscheidle, Sara Ryan
🎓 Brown & Lechler Cap and Gown Award: Claire Gscheidle, Jackson Hougnon, Hadley Keenen, Sonja Ruetten, Sara Ryan
🎤 Monologue Competition:
• Rachel King – Top 5 Finalist (performed at the Saturday Showcase)
• Elam Drew Coates – Honorable Mention (out of 145 participants!)
🎭 Improv All-Star: Layla Thakur (performed at the Showcase)
🎶 Musical Theatre Ensemble Top 5:
• “Why We Tell the Story” (Once on This Island)
• “When the Going Gets Tough” (The SpongeBob Musical) – both performed in the Showcase as two of the top 5 out of 25 entries!

We are so proud of our ACE teens for representing The ACT with grace, artistry, and enthusiasm, and are grateful to the TNT Youth Conference for a week full of creativity, connection, and community. 💙
