Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s...a meteor?

According to reports on the American Meteor Society fireball report log, a “bright green fireball” streaked across the skies of the Pacific Northwest and even down to Northern California around 6:06 a.m. on Monday.

“There is no major meteor shower currently,” said Jim Todd, an educator at OMSI.
