But real decisions aren’t that clean.

You’re given two options.

Option one:

You’re paid in full.
You don’t perform.

But later—when the venue calls—you cover a date for free.

An IOU.

Option two:

You take fifty percent.
You move on.
You’re free to take another job.
No obligation.

And that’s where it gets uncomfortable.

Because there’s no right answer.

Just two different ways of thinking.

or flexibility later.
