At Jumoke Academy Honors SMaRT, scholars are not just learning about engineering — they are becoming engineers. 

With the official launch of STEM Wednesdays, the campus continues to expand innovative learning opportunities. Today marks the launch for grades 7–8, with grades 5–6 participating on the next half-day Wednesday.

During weekly specials, scholars in grades 5–8 engage in hands-on STEM classes in state-of-the-art labs where learning is active and collaborative. Last week, scholars brought their learning to life through “Roller Coaster Runs,” designing and building model coasters using recycled materials. From measuring and cutting with precision to researching design models on their laptops, scholars worked through the engineering process — planning, constructing, testing, and revising their structures.
