【滙豐總行四十載｜建築美學】
 
滙豐總行大廈於1986年啟用，是滙豐在香港的第四代大樓。四十年來，這座劃時代的建築一直屹立於維港之畔，早已成為香港天際線中最具代表性的地標之一，見證城市的活力與脈搏🌆。
 
適逢三月藝術週，滙豐與本地首位榮獲國際建築攝影大賽的攝影師Gary Ng Garyfive 合作，透過鏡頭重新探索和詮釋這座經典銀行大廈的建築美學📷✨。 
 
✨結構美學：有別於傳統辦公大樓將電梯、樓梯集中於核心區域，滙豐總行將這些設施移至大廈兩旁，將鋼架結構懸掛於建築之外，不但釋放更多內部空間，更化為一種大膽前衛的建築語言，融合了尖端工程、本土傳統與前瞻視野。
 
💡光影主導：大樓中庭位置留空52米高，引入大量玻璃建材，讓維港景致盡納室內。自然光線穿透建築結構，建構出層次豐富的光影美學☀️。

🚶‍♀️以人為本：總行內部猶如一個「垂直村落」，設有共23部升降機與62條扶手電梯，為的是促進人與人之間的相遇和交流，展現了建築如何超越單純功能。

💻公共空間：在寸金尺土的中環地段，大樓特意將建築底座抬高，騰出開放公共空間，讓城市人流自由穿梭🚶‍♀️。

【HSBC Main Building Turns 40｜An Architectural Icon】
 
Opened in 1986, the fourth-generation HSBC Main Building stands as a defining icon of Hong Kong’s skyline.
 
To celebrate its 40th anniversary during Art Week, we partnered with Gary Ng Garyfive, Hong Kong’s first photographer to win at the Architecture Photography Awards, to capture the timeless architectural vision behind the Main Building.
 
🛠️Revolutionary “inside-out” design:
Unlike traditional office buildings, which conceal elevators, staircases within a central core, the HSBC Main Building relocates these facilities to the side of the building. The steel structure is boldly suspended outside. This innovative approach frees up interior space and creates a distinctive industrial aesthetic that has inspired buildings around the globe.
 
☀️Prioritising natural light:
A soaring 52-metre atrium, lined with floor-to-ceiling glass windows, floods the building with natural light and frames iconic views of Victoria Harbour. Sunlight reaches every floor, creating an open and transparent space throughout the day.
 
🚶‍♀️Designed for human connection:
The interior forms the ‘vertical villages’, with 23 lifts and 62 escalators establishing natural pathways for movement and interaction that extend beyond pure functionality.
 
🏙️Public space reimagined:
In the dense urban fabric of Central, the building is deliberately elevated on stilts, creating a generous public plaza beneath where city life flows freely day and night.
