My little formula baby 🍼 🥰

The first couple of weeks Miles was always crying and I never knew why. I would pump for 1-2 hours and get a couple drops. Then I found out that not all of the placenta was removed at birth which was the cause. I had to have it removed and then go on medication to break up any remaining pieces. (YES, TMI) 
That basically killed off all milk supply and any chance of breast feeding. I’ll never forget the guilt of not being able to. There is so much pressure around breast feeding and people rubbing it in your face that it’s impossible to not feel the guilt. I remember being so emotional about it and I’ll never forget my mother-in-law saying to me “It’s okay sweetie, both of my boys were formula fed and they turned out alright”. And just like that I was like, OK formula it is! FYI Miles turned out alright too 😉
So anyone else out there stressing about it just remember a fed baby is a happy and healthy baby!
