This billboard stood along Lankershim Boulevard, just outside Universal Studios Hollywood, promoting the grand opening of “Earthquake: The Big One” on the Studio Tour.

“Survive it at Universal Studios” wasn’t just a tagline… it was a promise. When this attraction debuted in spring 1989, it redefined what the Studio Tour could be, blending real sets with full scale special effects.
