Early in Jeezy’s career he was in a dark place. In 2008 he made major changes before recording the “Recession”. During a dinner with wealthy investors he learned of their financial fears, & that implored him to “tell my people” what was coming. 

As he shared the album people loved it. They only had 1 message… 

“I think you should take “My President” off because I don’t think he’s gon’ win”. As Jeezy has famously said “🗣️HaHa”.
