Starting a business as a woman is one of the hardest things you can do in today’s America.

That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t.

A few months ago, I moved to San Francisco to build ruthapp.ai and to be honest, the data I see every day makes me want to move faster.

1️⃣ Women-founded companies are receiving a shrinking share of VC deals. 

2️⃣ Women are lagging behind in AI adoption. 

3️⃣ And according to new mckinseyco data, women are still less likely to have a sponsor in their corner.

Here’s what I know to be true: AI is the great equalizer, IF women actually get to use it.

Before building Ruth, I ran a one-person creator business that gave me the freedom to partner with organizations like robinhoodnyc, claudeai, and linkedin on my message around using AI for social good. 

That happened because of VISIBILITY, PERSONAL BRANDING, and learning to NEGOTIATE my own worth.

Now I’m building the tool I wish I had.

Ruth is an AI career platform designed specifically to help women close the wage gap that hasn’t moved in 20 years.

Since moving to SF, I’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible women founders and executives who understand how critical this moment is. 

The AI arms race is happening now.
