I just hit 20,000 followers on LinkedIn. ✨

I wasn’t trying to build a personal brand. I was just doing what my job asked me to do.

Back in July, I was working in advertising, and my boss encouraged me to post like a “thought leader.”

So I opened chatgpt and typed:

“Help me position myself as a thought leader in X, Y, and Z.” 💡

That was the first domino.

Over the next few months, I started sharing videos and posts…testing, learning, reflecting. 

Somehow, it started gaining traction. 

I hit 3 million impressions and thought, maybe I could just do content full time. 🫣🧠

But then, I got laid off.

I kept posting though…not because I had a big plan for how it would all work out, but because it felt like the only thing I had control over. 

A few months later:

📈 120 million impressions
📰 Fortune and CNBC features
💻 Workshops with women I admire
🤝 Partnerships with brands I once dreamt of
⏰ Freedom to spend my days creating

Even now, I’m still wrapping my head around it. But I’m deeply grateful. 🥹🙏
