Single incision Distal Biceps Tendon Repair Technique utilizes dual method of tendon fixation, allows for early elbow motion, no restriction to start physical therapy, improved surgical incision healing potential, and less pain compared to a dual incision technique.

The Tension Slide Technique with the BicepsButton provides a simple, reproducible and biomechanically stable repair of the distal biceps. The tensioning technique reliably draws the tendon against the distal cortex of the bone socket. The addition of a Tenodesis Screw improves the biomechanical strength and allows the tendon to be placed in a more anatomic position.

🥼👨🏾‍⚕️Dr Wilkerson is a Sports Medicine Fellowship Trained and Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in operative and non-operative treatments of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle. 

He also performs several in office regenerative medicine procedures including BMAC stem cells, Lipogems Micro-Fragmented Adipose tissue graft, and platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections. Treatments are performed under ultrasound, fluoroscopy, or needle arthroscopy guidance.
