Just because someone is a CEO doesn’t mean they’re rich.
That’s a myth.
From my own experience — and from CEOs I know — it’s normal to run multi-million-dollar businesses and still live on a very normal paycheck.
Why?
Because most CEOs pay themselves last and reinvest everything back into the business.
Here’s the part people miss:
A CEO job isn’t that different from a regular job — it’s still work for a paycheck.
The real upgrade isn’t money at first.
It’s time control and long-term upside.
So if you’re building and it hasn’t paid off yet, that’s not failure — that’s the process.
And if you’re thinking about becoming a CEO, the ceiling is real… it just takes time.
Both paths are valid.
One just plays the long game. FYI
