STORY TIME… 

It’s been 5 weeks since the break up and here’s the truth.

He literally hasn’t shed a tear since we broke up which broke my heart more.

There are many things I have found out in the past few days which undoubtedly affirm lots of things which he gaslit me about during our relationship. I’m unable to talk about any of it due to him threatening to take legal action against me. 

This knowledge has helped me move out of the sad phase of heartbreak and into the angry / acceptance stage. 

I thought that downloading the apps would help me to move on and that seeking male validation would heal my heart… but actually, I’ve realised that I am the only one who can validate & heal myself. 

I need to heal the part of me that stayed with a man who disrespected me, and not just stayed with… I chased him! The part of me that would rather have put up with being made to feel invisible than walk away! 

The realisation that I broke my own heart by setting boundaries too late & not choosing myself 😧❤️‍🩹. 

So instead of looking for someone else to fill that little void in me, I’m on a journey to heal it myself, I’m on a journey to become the love that I crave from a man. If I can fill my own heart with love, joy and abundance… if I can soothe the anxious part of my heart & become the reassurance it needs then it won’t need topping up by a man… and when the right man does come along he will be adding to my life creating an abundant overflow of love rather than a top up. ❤️‍🩹
