I don’t know about you, but absolutely nothing about this week has gone to plan.

That “in-between” space is so strange.
The one where you have to make a decision and pivot. It’s like time slows down, you pick the next aligned action, and suddenly everything speeds up again.

Decision made. Pivot happening.

Have a plan, but hold it loosely.
Life shifts. Energy shifts. You get to shift with it.

And science actually supports this.
Studies on cognitive flexibility show that people who can adjust their plans without spiraling have healthier nervous systems, better problem-solving skills, and more emotional resilience.
In polyvagal theory, this flexibility signals a regulated state because your system can stay curious instead of shutting down under pressure.

Psychology research also shows that holding goals loosely reduces perfectionism and increases long-term success by keeping the mind adaptive and open. 

So if this week is pulling you in a new direction, trust it. Your nervous system might know something your mind is still catching up to.
