As mentioned yesterday, Monaco remains the most expensive real estate market in the world with a residential average price of €47,600 per square meter.
 
A combination of factors has been contributing to the principality claiming top spot for many years now. With very few opportunities to develop further,  demand has been outstripping supply for some time. 
 
Slightly larger than the Vatican with 2.5 square km, Monaco is the most densely populated country in the world with many dreaming of making it their home. Why? Perfect climate, surrounded by the sea on the one side, the mountains on the other, great schools, economic stability, tax benefits, safe and secure, all contributed to make Monaco a hot spot for investors and affluent people around the world wanting to relocate. With that dynamic and despite the high entry ticket, Monaco has been and is likely to remain an excellent market for capital appreciation in the coming years.
