As an anesthesiologist assistant, we use a variety of #medications daily! From inhalational agents such as sevoflurane to iv anesthetics 💉(propofol, etomidate) and narcotics (fentanyl, dilaudid)… to name a few; Every patient receives a personalized combination of these drugs based on their weight, medical history and type of surgery. 🏥 Most of these medications have a quick onset so you’re able to see the effects and titration accordingly. This aspect of anesthesia is one of my favorites: Instant gratification 💥
