Always triple check your drug vials and medications before administering. 💉 Companies can change up the colors and designs that you’re normally use to. Midazolam (Versed) is a benzodiazepine that we use almost daily for our patients who require sedation or pre-medication due to anxiety. 😖 Versed is given to reduce seizure activity and is commonly used in pediatric anesthesia. It has anterograde amnestic effects! There are a few relative contraindications to this such as pregnant 🤰🏻 and elderly 👵🏼👴🏻 patients.
