Where do the spots end and the stillness begin? There is no background here — only white space, as if the world fell away to leave just the curve of a shoulder and a constellation of spots. The cheetah feels larger this way, as though he carries the entire frame.

I love when an image holds its breath like this — when there’s nothing left but form, light, and the animal’s quiet watch.
