As the scorching sun beat down on the arid plains, raucous laughter echoed through the air. It was the sound of a hyena clan frolicking and splashing in the water with pure abandon.​​​​​​​​​

Their mottled coats were drenched and glistened in the sunlight as they took turns diving into the deep end and emerging with a triumphant yelp.

Despite being often portrayed as scavengers, these hyenas proved that they were also capable of genuine playfulness and camaraderie.
