14 February is not only a day of mourning… it is a day of accountability.

Those 40 bravehearts did not die so that we only write “RIP” in comments.
They stood on the road so that the nation could sleep peacefully.

If you truly feel for them, then prepare yourself to become the officer who leads from the front — disciplined, emotionally strong and responsible for the lives of men under command.

Patriotism is not proved by anger.
Patriotism is proved by character.

The best tribute to Pulwama martyrs is not a candle…
it is an officer’s uniform earned with integrity.

Pulwama teaches three very important military lessons.

The enemy studies your routine more than your strength.
Security failures are rarely one big mistake — they are a chain of small vulnerabilities.
And the responsibility of an officer is preventive leadership, not reactive bravery.

The soldiers in that convoy did nothing wrong. They were moving under orders. But counter-insurgency warfare punishes predictability.

So the tribute to those martyrs is not only remembrance.
The real tribute is learning from what happened… and ensuring, as future officers and responsible citizens, that preparedness is always stronger than complacency.
