Magazines. They were the whole reason I ended up this game. 26 years later and I still love working on editorial lettering, image making and illustration concepts. From a creative perspective, having such a wide variety of subject matter, tones and design styles to draw upon is always super inspiring. I even love the tight deadlines as it’s impossible to labour over things for days and get bogged down. There’s no time for that. It forces you to think fast and back an idea and keeps the creative juices flowing. 😊✌️
