Love is the way.  It’s been a journey to rediscover self-love. 
I cherish this space in which I now dwell, where my dreams become my reality. I’ve been feeling so connected to this higher power, something I found within me to overcome the challenges, lean into the pain and flow with the emotions back to my heart.

Only you can rescue you.  If you’re going through something and having a hard time, ask yourself, “do I love myself?” 
If the answer is no, then you’ve been given a gift.

Knowing this, is an indication of where to begin. Forgive, find compassion and be proud of yourself for becoming aware and in having the desire to heal and grow. Not going to sugarcoat it- this path is not easy. But don’t give up. Don’t give away your power- you can do this.
I remember asking myself, “how the hell do I find the love for this person I do not even recognize in the mirror? Who am I? How do I find myself again and how do I love her?”

The interesting thing that happens is, when this question becomes your inquiry, in time, the answer is always found. Trust this process. 
To know love, is to be love. When you find love for yourself, you will know what it is to love another. 

Not just in relationships but in everything and everyone, because we are all connected. That compassion and love for oneself, expands into love and compassion for others. 
It is simply in being. There is no need for someone to rescue you, no seeking of outward validation and to know oneself, to love that person, you become free of the opinions of others.
Shine your light.
