There are so many elements to this painting. 
To the composition mimicking a #carvaggio,
The symbolism of a white peacock on a pitchfork , the warrior archetype and man wearing a tiger costume.
The masks and masquerade.
Puppets and affections feigned.
What’s given and left for waste..

Is it love unrequited or a spectacle caged?

What you don’t see is the carcasses of white peacocks in the corner and spectators gaze through the window.. added later..
