I had all these plans that flew out of the window. Including this 12foot canvas that fell off the wall yesterday. So as I try to convince the neighbour to let me paint on their wall, I said fuck it and with diluted ink, played around with initial line, movement and really, the Skeleton of a painting pre-composition.. the painting will tell me once it’s on the wall.

It never fails that my passion bubbles over the caldron, and once I begin… what list of ‘things to do’? 
So if you’re reading this and waiting for something from me..I will be right back once I get it out onto the canvas.
I never realized I would need to show my work at the end of the residency to the public. Fuck. 

I have like 99 messed up problems for paintings. Now an exhibition. My 100th problem.😂

You see, for those who know me and understand what my quest is on this journey, it’s to undo all that I am so accustomed to doing, and it’s all fun and games until you lose me to a completely other reality in which I dwell, when inspiration strikes, it’s hot as hell. 

That burning passion knows no idea of time and what a civilized time to visit would be - never mind the guest that never leaves… I should
Be grateful to be so inspired.. because we all know the one we want to call or visit, hell,  stay for a while.. but
You’re just staring at the phone.
Maybe someone will call in the inspiration…

So needless to say, when im inspired, please be patient with me. 
My paintings tell me to be patient. Sometimes I try
To rush things in.. then mess it up.. but.. learn something too.. press repeat.

What I learned after the past few days….it might appear that I move with ease.. and in the moment I do.. it’s just that I lose myself in one hour that expands to 12 and the next day my
body sure tells me where I’ve been. 

And so again I’m
Tired but so excited
To wake up again..
To usher in a new day..

Hopefully the time will go slowly
Especially when the brush is in hand.
