I returned from Ghana on Sunday, and the reintroduction to reality has been rough for a variety of reasons. I am finally starting to feel like myself again.

My time in Ghana was truly life changing. There are so many moments I want to share. Throughout the month, I will be posting a series called “Postcards from Ghana” to give you a glimpse into my journey.

This first postcard is about my naming ceremony in the community of La, Nii Okpoti Kumma We, in Accra, Ghana.
