As someone who thrives on hands-on learning rather than just reading, I believe that engaging in projects is crucial for skill development. 
Completing my first challenge of breast cancer detection for the #100DaysOfCodeChallenge for Women in Data Science Datathon 2024, I’ve begun compiling a project list for my portfolio. I’ve worked on some of them in grad school while some are new. 
This list spans from basic to advanced levels. 

Several online repositories cater specifically to machine learning datasets, often pre-cleaned for swift algorithm testing. 

Explore platforms like Kaggle, UCI Machine Learning Repository, Quandl, data.world, data.gov, World Bank, and /r/datasets on Reddit. These resources provide a diverse range of datasets, facilitating efficient experimentation and learning in the field of machine learning. 📊 I’ll be continually updating this list.
