I was invited by ______maia to design a number for her 'BASE10' exhibition which is now open in Melbourne at the backwoods.gallery as part of the ongoing Melbourne Design Week ngvmelbourne

I documented my process so you can follow my search for balance in the number 1.

BASE10 is a designer-led project curated by Maia Kjendle that proposes an alternative attitude to numerical systems through material sensibilities. Twenty typographers from around the world were invited to design a number from 1-10. 
To create an exhibition experience that translates into space Maia created sculptures out of each contribution that you can see on her profile ______maia Thanks for the invitation next to so many good designers 🤍
