Because leaving saved my life and healed me in ways I didn’t know I needed ✈️🎒🌴☀️

When I started traveling the world in my early twenties, so many things opened up for me. I realized there is so much more than the town we grew up in - so many amazing people to meet, beaches to see, sunsets to enjoy, and experiences to be had. I learned this world is much bigger than we think, and seeing other perspectives has given me a sense of peace, because I realize how many things I’ve taken for granted.

Through anxiety, heartbreak, and depression, traveling is what has healed me, and helped me get out of a dark place. It’s not an escape, it’s a lifestyle. This is why I travel even when I have really little money.
