Choose products that work for you - not against you. 🤍

A lot of products on shelves today are filled with cheap ingredients that help the appearance of your hair + skin but in reality they’re just coating it to mask the root cause. 

Silicone for example. 

And then some - 
that disrupt your hormones, are toxic….. etc 

…. and then there’s the loopholes of fragrance = no transparency of what you’re actually using. 

Sounds insane? I know. 😖

Doesn’t ? Then you’re not really getting it. 

I make a lot of my own products because I don’t trust brands that have intentionally been putting profit over health for years.  It’s nice to see the changes some of these brands are shifting towards because it raises the overall standard-  but I can’t help to think that if this wasn’t trending they wouldn’t care nor make the necessary changes. 

The few brands I do use, I research and use before they make it to a Reel or Post. I also read their mission statements bc values darling. 

As a safety blanket, I always opt for European Standards in self care because they have a higher standard of safety.  1,300+ ingredients banned in European beauty VS 11 in the US. 

Ouch 🙈 but moving on.
