It's time for the 2026 isufigureskating World Championships!!! ⛸️⛸️⛸️⛸️

Seven figure skaters who train at our facilities will compete at the International Skating Union (ISU) Figure Skating World Championships 2026, set to begin tomorrow, March 25 and conclude Saturday, March 28 in Prague, Czechia.
 
The group is highlighted by U.S. men’s skaters Ilia Malinin and Andrew Torgashev, Georgii Reshtenko (Czechia), Yu-Hsiang “Jordan” Li (Taiwan), pairs team Katie McBeath and Daniil Parkman (United States) and women’s skater Sofia Samodelkina (Kazakhstan).
 
Additionally, Starr Andrews (United States), who trains at The Rinks- Lakewood ICE and Great Park Ice’s Eliška Březinová (Czechia) were named alternates for their respective countries.
 
Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina gold medalist Malinin enters the competition in pursuit of his third consecutive World title and fourth straight podium finish. With a victory, the four-time and reigning U.S. champion would tie for the fourth-most World titles by an American man and become the first U.S. man since Nathan Chen to win three consecutive World crowns.

Competition begins Wednesday, March 25, with the women’s and pairs short programs. The first medals will be awarded Thursday, March 26, following the men’s short program and pairs free skate. Ice dance begins Friday, March 27, followed by the women’s free skate. The championships conclude Saturday, March 28, with the men’s free skate and free dance.
