Everyday you have to look in the mirror and want to be better than the person you see…

Winners are constantly trying to get 1% better. Every single day, they have a chip on their shoulder… 

Personally, it has always been harder for me to handle success than it is to handle adversity. 

When things get tough or challenging, I am easily compelled to action, and motivation comes abundantly. 

On the contrary, when I've accomplished the goal, received the award, and heard all of the praises, I find it more difficult to stay motivated. 

I get sloppy and careless until I am ultimately humbled again by adversity, to which I promptly respond. 

In order to learn how to sustain success, I needed to learn to avoid taking two steps back for every step forward.”
