When I was 26 years old, I lost my Dad to a massive heart attack from complications from Diabetes.
From that day I swore, I would look after my fitness, both mental & physical.
I joined a gym within 2 months and never looked back.
At the time, I was working in the finance industry. Long hours & a lot of stress.
While working in that world, I got my personal training certification (17 yrs ago). I eventually left the industry when my son was born.
I knew when I went back to work, it would be to make a difference.
I started my company and pledged to help other women improve their health & fitness.

It was never about being thin or how one looks in a “bikini”, it was about living.

I wanted to help women. Truly help them.

Help them gain strength and energy.

Help them see what they are truly capable of.

Sure I’ve competed and won medals and trophies. I did that to see what I could do personally (that’s a whole other post).

I’ve appeared in fitness magazines & I also write for fitness magazines. But, it was never about winning or seeing my pictures or name in print.

It was about being the best version of myself, but more importantly, showing other women what is possible.

I got into the fitness world late in the game, so to speak.

I’ll be 50 in less than two months. As I look back, I look at what I am most proud of & thankful for.

I am grateful I have a beautiful family. I’m a very proud Mom of an awesome boy. I have an amazing husband & family.

I’m beyond proud & grateful that I achieved my goal; I’ve helped over 2000 women and I’m not stopping anytime soon.

Fitness is more than just fitness. It’s personal growth, it’s a lifestyle.
