Me? 

Getting married 👰🏾 
Working retail to help pay for a wedding. 🫣

Building a startup I believed in deeply.

Trying to keep a jewelry business alive that I already knew needed to end.

I was ambitious, stressed, hopeful, in love, and learning everything the hard way.

Six months after my wedding, I’d be diagnosed with cancer.
But in 2016, I didn’t know that yet.

What I did know was how to ask for what I wanted.

That brand mattered.
That founder visibility mattered.
And that I wasn’t done, even when things felt uncertain.

Looking back now, it was one of the most formative seasons of my life.
