This one took me a while to post.
Eight years in remission… and still, sometimes, it hits me all over again.

The other day, my mother-in-law reminded me why I have to be careful about even thinking of having another baby.

Not because of my age — but because of the cancer.

That conversation stopped me cold.
It reminded me of how far I’ve come… and why I don’t take a single day for granted.

When I had my son, I had to come off the medication that keeps my estrogen low — because pregnancy spikes it, and my cancer feeds off estrogen.

Between treatments, IVF, pregnancy, and breastfeeding, I was off it for over a year.

And thank God, I’m still here.

Lately, I’ve been hearing more and more stories — friends of friends finding lumps, getting calls they never expected, losing someone too soon.
It reminded me that I hadn’t done my #FeelOnTheFirst post yet — something started by my dear friend Natalie, who is no longer with us.

So here’s the reminder I needed to share:
✨ Check your breasts regularly.
✨ Know what’s normal for you.
✨ If something feels off — go get it checked.

Early detection saved my life.
I found my lump. No family history. No pain. Just awareness.
