## Caption

“Operation Breaking Point” a dog rescue operation in our own community is currently underway. Officials described it as a combined puppy mill and hoarding situation. 

Yorkshire terriers, Maltese, Havanese, poodles and “designer” mixes were recovered from the residence, all living in what the Animal Rescue Corps called “extremely neglectful conditions.” Rescue workers had to wear respirators to enter the home due to dangerously high ammonia levels from animal waste. The floors in the home were completely covered with urine and feces and went about a foot up the walls in every room. The rescued animals will receive medical treatment and rehabilitation before potentially becoming available for adoption through partner shelters.
