This Thursday, I flew to Bengaluru after getting invited by microsoftindia to attend the Microsoft AI Tour. just sharing what I saw, what stood out, and my honest take on how AI adoption is shaping up in India right now.

Photo 1: Finally in Bengaluru for the Microsoft AI Tour. Walking into the venue felt like stepping into a conversation about where AI is actually going next, not just demos, but real scale, real impact.

Photo 2: This pass meant listening in, asking questions, and seeing announcements up close.
Always grateful for opportunities where you get to learn directly from the source instead of reading summaries later.

Photo 3: Satya Nadella setting the tone early. The focus was very clear: AI moving from experimentation to everyday usage, across enterprises, government, and people at scale.

Photo 4: This was impressive. Watching an app being built live using Copilot App Builder really showed how fast idea to execution is becoming. Less friction, more shipping.

Photo 5: One of the biggest highlights. Microsoft announced a $17.5 billion investment in India to build AI and cloud infrastructure, skilling programs, and long-term operations. This felt less like a headline and more like a long-term commitment.

Photo 6: Over 200,000 Copilot licenses across Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant. This is AI being embedded into daily workflows, not pilots or experiments.

Photo 7: AI being used to help informal workers move into formal jobs, better security, better opportunities. Tech actually improving lives, not just dashboards.

Photo 8, 9 & 10: Long day, delayed flight, and airport food saved the mood. Buffalo Wild Wings and a guava punch before heading back.

Photo 11: Flight delayed, found this sleeping pod at the airport lounge. Didn’t expect it, but honestly a great idea when delays stretch longer than planned.
