Hundredth “Faded Splendor”

Deepest gratitude to Chadwick to help expand his creative vision. Faded Splendor is a masterpiece, and I’m proud to have contributed to how it will be remembered. 

I was lucky to have shaped the art direction / visual world for this record – the artwork, the music videos. 

What began as a minimal 2D star on early single art somehow evolved into a surreal, cinematic language. From the dreamlike star forests of “Waste.” to the photoreal, star-shaped world of “All The Way,” we built worlds that anchored the rollout with persistent motifs. 

This project means more to me than most will ever know. I toured the world making videos and photos for artists, pouring everything I had into work that often disappeared in 24 hours. Social media and cheaper gear gave me a career.. but it also made things feel disposable. With this project, I got to do something different: something permanent, something built for legacy. 🙏

Thanks to breakthroughs in tech, a little self-belief, I’ve been able to take what used to be an impossible dream of directing the visual identity for a record, and actually do it. Now that it’s all said and done, I feel very proud of what was achieved. More than that, I feel lucky. Yes, we work for our luck, but nonetheless I am lucky.
