जागतिक पर्यावरण दिनानिमित्त जेष्ठ नागरिक संघटना - रॉयल कॉलेज, मिरा रोड द्वारे ‘पर्यावरण विषयांवर वेशभूषा व भाषण’ स्पर्धेचे आयोजन केले होते. या स्पर्धेचे परीक्षण करण्यासाठी मला बोलविण्यात आले, तसे जेष्ठांचे परीक्षण करण्याची चेष्ठा मुळीच करणार नाही परंतु निमंत्रणाच्या अग्रहस्थ आणि अनुभवींचे विचार ऐकण्यासाठी उपस्थित राहिलो. अनुभवींचे बोल सुद्धा खूप काही शिकवून गेले...... 

On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Senior Citizens Association at Royal College, Mira Road organized a ‘Costume and Speech on Environment’ competition. I was invited to judge the competition, Rather than judging the elders, I would listen to both novices and veterans’ perspectives. The words of the experienced also taught me a lot….
