Yesterday wasn’t exactly a gold star day.
When you’ve got the mix of things wrong with you like I do, concentration can get balked up in the funniest ways.
Shepherd’s pie…
fine if you like eating beige. Forgot half the spice rack. 🤦🏽‍♂️ .
Dessert was lemon bars, except I seasoned them like hot chips. 
Salty lemon bars,
better with ice cream, because ice cream forgives a lot.

Spent the day losing things keys, tools, my own patience. Put something down, it vanished. Turns out I’m the bastard moving it. Sometimes while it’s still in my hand.

So I did what I do when the day’s gone to hell 
grabbed the keys, the camera, hit the road. All roads lead to Semaphore.
The streets were empty, just the hum of the car cooling and the tide working somewhere in the dark.
You saw the stills yesterday. What I didn’t tell you 
my spare battery pulled a disappearing act. 
Tore my camera bag apart swearing it was there. Got home… yeah. Same pocket.
Magic trick, I guess.

As good ol’ Uncle Charlie would say 
“WINNING!!”
And yes, it’s days like that you wish you had a smoke or you could just watch everything burn.
