Terrace season is back ☀️☕️ Yes, carrying a 16” laptop is heavier, but for my workflow, the extra screen space and 48GB RAM are absolutely worth it.

Why? Because modern AI-assisted development workflows are resource-hungry. Running tools like Cursor, Windsurf, and multiple AI agents at the same time, while building app features, updating websites, and handling marketing tasks, needs a machine that does not slow everything down.

My current setup is:
I use my older Ubuntu Dell with 32GB RAM for background AI planning and synced work (OpenClaw + Ollama), then move to my new MacBook Pro 16” M4 Pro 48GB ram and 1TB SSD for review, editing, and execution. That lets me keep momentum without breaking my flow.

A powerful machine is not just about speed. It is about:
	•	smoother multitasking
	•	handling larger workflows
	•	less waiting, more building

This is exactly why RAM, screen size, and performance matter so much for developers working with AI tools today.

What matters more in your setup right now: portability or performance? And what part of your workflow starts breaking first when your machine cannot keep up? It was sound driver on my MacBook M1 16GB of RAM.
