Thrilled to be part of this special exhibition, collaborating with 500 artist friends! A huge thanks to BFM Art Center bfmartcenter for their thoughtful curation, making this art “marathon” so meaningful.

My exhibited work is based on a childhood drawing I created when I was four years old—a lonely little girl standing by herself. This time, I reimagined the drawing, and now the girl is surrounded by and working alongside 500 artist friends, no longer lonely. It symbolizes not only personal growth but also finding connection and belonging through art.

“Friends Everywhere!” is the slogan of this exhibition. The group exhibition launched in Suzhou, which spans the longest route and the widest range, is based on a WeChat group. Through the social form of artists “pulling in” artist friends, friends from different ages, regions, and backgrounds quickly come together and naturally “grow” apart. This format aims to collectively reverse the tone of “foreigners”(outsiders) and attempt to “break the circle”in the current institutional landscape. Based on this, an artist network intertwined with the local transportation network forms a societal blueprint, reconnecting art with the real world and bridging the aesthetics in society.”
