“Journey of the Seed” series by ANQI portrays the realization of one’s potential in life. 

Inspired by shamanic “Delicate Lodge” teachings, Plato’s “Daemon/Inner Calling” theme & James Hillman “Acorn Theory” (we’re born with a seed/ an internal image of our true calling). 

This metaphorical journey of cracking/sprouting is conveyed with organic, amorphous forms that are intertwined and layered to each other. Traditional materials (paint, paper) and digital technologies are used together.
