Turkish-Taiwanese/Chinese artist ANQI with a Hiromita sculpture. ✨ Hiromita, created by artist ANQI, is a playful cat with the spirit of a tiger and embodies the journey of individuation. Inspired by Chinese rooftop guardian cats (wamao), Asian manga that the artist read as a child and ancient Greek ideas of inner guidance and true calling, Hiromita reminds us authenticity and realizing one’s true potential in life.

Leaving her traditional role as a rooftop guardian, Hiromita chose freedom and follows her heart’s calling and inspires others to do so.
