< Türkçe👇🏻> Recently featured in an interview with milliyet_sanat , one of Türkiye’s leading contemporary art magazines.

Titled “ANQI Passes Through Istanbul”, the article explores how I brought hiromitaproject’s immersive installation “Hiromita: Journey to the Heart’s Calling” to the 5th ArtContact Istanbul Contemporary Art Fair—a collaboration between Hiromita Project and Tilki Sanat, curated by Dr. Çağatay Olgun.

In the interview, I spoke about:
🌀 The mythopoetic world of Hiromita, a guardian-like figure inspired by Chinese wamao (tile cat) figurines and Asian manga I read as a kid in Taiwan

Uzakdoğu kültüründen ilham alan Hiromita karakteriyle tanınan Türk-Tayvan kökenli çağdaş sanatçı ANQI, şimdiye kadarki en kapsamlı interaktif yerleştirmesi “Hiromita: Kalbin Çağrısına Yolculuk”un İstanbul edisyonunu 5. ArtContact İstanbul fuarında sundu. Yerleştirme, Hiromita Project ve Tilki Sanat iş birliğiyle, Dr. Çağatay Olgun küratörlüğünde hazırlandı. Ziyaretçileri içsel çağrılarına yönelten bu çok katmanlı deneyim, İstanbul’a özel olarak yeniden uyarlandı. Eser, Hiromita heykel ve resimleri ile “İçsel Ev” çadırı, “Dilek Denizi” gibi katılımcı unsurlar içeriyor.
