In this special interview, art historian and consultant Dr. cagatayolgunn shares his insights on the Hiromita: Journey to the Heart’s Calling installation at the 5th ArtContact Istanbul Fair—its conceptual journey, transformation for Istanbul, and key elements such as the Sea of Intentions, the Inner Home Tent, and the references to Istanbul’s layered history and visual language. 

This ArtContact Istanbul edition of the installation was a collaboration between hiromitaproject and tilkisanat , curated by art historian Dr. Çağatay Olgun, and supported by artcontactistanbul .

Dr. Olgun’s curatorial lens helped shape this edition into a site-specific, culturally resonant experience—inviting viewers to reconnect with their inner stories within the collective space of the installation.
