## Caption

Calico Ghost Town 👻 Abandoned in the 1890’s this ghost town / mine just about two hours outside of LA had one of the biggest silver strikes in California. 🏜️ Originally named “Calico” for the multi-colored hills that resemble calico fabric. Fun trip to see the town, ride the train, tour the abandoned mine and more! #californiahistory #ghosttown #calicoghosttown #summer2023
