‘Mo Reala’ Zaytoven, Future (2018)

“Mo Reala” (also titled “More Realer”) is a track off Zaytoven’s collaborative project Trap Holizay, released May 2018 through Epic/Freebandz, with Future handling the sole feature over one of Zaytoven’s signature church-piano-meets-trap constructions — heavy keys, brooding atmosphere, and the kind of beat that sounds like it was built at 3AM in a studio nobody’s leaving.  Future’s bars lean into his standard zone — stacking bread, iced-out jewelry, crew loyalty, and street credibility — but delivered with the effortless confidence that made DS2 and Evol classics, bouncing between melodic Auto-Tune and punchy rap delivery.  The hook, “Ace by the case, I’m more realer than y’all,” functions as a mantra rather than a brag — Future isn’t trying to convince anyone, he’s just stating facts.

The video dropped July 27, 2018, directed with a distinctly cinematic eye — taking Future and Zaytoven out of the typical city settings into wide open midwestern plains, eerie church visuals, and auburn wilderness scenery that gives the whole thing an almost gothic, otherworldly feel.  It’s an interesting choice for a track this raw, but it works because it captures the duality of Zaytoven’s production style: street grit filtered through classical piano training. As one of Future’s most consistent producer partnerships outside of Metro Boomin, this record is a reminder of what happens when those two lock in without outside pressure.
